INTRODUCTION

Queens Palace Self Catering Apartments are situated in the centre of Douglas Bay in Queens Apartments, Palace Terrace, on Queens Promenade and offers 2 apartments; 1 double bed apartment and 1 double/twin apartment. Both apartments  feature a kitchenette for light cooking, an open plan lounge/diner, balcony and a bathroom.

Access is via an elevator to all floors.

Queens Apartments are located directly on Douglas Promenade and are about a 15 minute walk from Douglas town centre and a short drive away from all the Manx National Heritage Attractions.

We regret we are unable to accommodate guest’s pets but do of course welcome assistance dogs.

WELCOME AND PARKING

We will meet you on arrival to give you your key and show you around.

Car parking is available below road level and can be accessed via the elevator.

Street parking outside the apartments is generally available.

Elevators are accessed at ground floor, and basement levels, and are 80 cm wide at the entrance.

The elevators have automated announcements of the selected levels.

The main entrance has 9 deep steps (18cm) up to the entrance, the door is 78 cm wide, a hand rail is provided. There is an entrance at the rear of the property which is 78 cm wide and has a level threshold.

 

APARTMENT 19

  • A single level unit
  • The entrance doorway is 80cm wide with a level threshold leading onto carpeted flooring.
  • Doors throughout are 80cm wide.
  • Kitchen area is attached to the living area.
  • Kitchen Worktops are at standard 930cm height
  • The shower is over the bath.
  • There are no hand rails or supports.
  • The King Size bed is 50cm high with access to both sides, the bedroom is compact.
  • The small balcony has a table & two chairs and can be accessed from the lounge.

 

APARTMENT 29

  • A single level unit
  • The entrance doorway is 80 cm with a level threshold leading onto oak flooring.
  • Doors throughout are 80 cm wide.
  • There is a free standing shower with a low 6 cm entry, a grab rail has been fitted. The floor has been tiled.
  • Kitchen area is attached to the living area.
  • Kitchen Worktops are at standard 930 cm height.
  • The bed is 60 cm high and can be arranged as Super King or two Single Beds, there is ample access from both sides.
  • The small balcony has a table with two chairs and can be accessed from the lounge.
